Michael "Mike"

Michael loved his family, friends and his community. He was a friend to all, and loved learning about alternative modalities to help people heal. Mike was best known for his hugs, warm, safe, and bigger than any trouble the world could throw at a person. Mike always had the time for a chat, listening to your struggles and making sure you didn't feel alone. His mentorship inspired, and his encouragement challenged people to step into opportunities they would not have thought available. Mike's dedication and heart are a large part of why we do what we do. 

The life of the party, he loved music and often volunteered to DJ parties for those who walked through life with differences and needed accommodations. Frowns never lasted long with Mike around, and life seemed to be full of energy and joy. When Mike wasn't being the life of the party, you could find him tearing up the roads in his car or tinkering in his wood working shop. A technology genius, Mike was known to build anything out of a few bits of wire and a battery. The real driving force in Mike's life was his family. His love for his family was unconditional and unending. Time and distance didn't matter when it came to family, and he is felt by those he left behind daily.
